i went to bumbershoot, it was amazing
there was a kid in a blue body suit playing a recorder and making puppet porno, i had the most delicious salmon & cream cheese pirogi, and some old guy tried to pass me a joint at the bob dylan concert. a+++ would go again |

i've been alternating between complacent denial and mindbendingly panicked anxiety over this fifteen minute presentation i have to give on wednesday and have been seriously contemplating skipping it altogether, even though it is 15 percent of my grade and the resulting C i earn in that class would ruin my GPA. I don't know if the possibility of throwing up/spontaneously combustion/heart attack/ripping off my own head and throwing it through a window before collapsing in a horrible bloody heap in front of the entire class is worth getting a B instead of a C though. i know i am totally psyching myself out about this but goddamn if there is one thing i detest more than anything else it is giving 15 minute presentations. on the other hand, my mother would kill me if she found out i skipped. but this is a friggin' WRITING CLASS i signed up for, there was no mention of presentations and speeches! the only reason i signed up for this class was to fulfill a writing GUR! i feel gypped and violated!
LIVEJOURNAL I AM CONFLICTED. i know i should just man up but i am seriously on the side of wussing out right now. also i want to die
i just want to sleep until the week is overrrr. nothing is worth this much anxiety. i feel so dumb.

i am seeing the new pornographers with my brother in a week so that probably won't suck
